Warming up

No, not the weather... Wally seems to be warming up more to the idea of Maggie - especially if it means another set of hands that might be able to play Pooh Bear with him. Unfortunately, she didn't catch on right away. Give it a few years, Wally.

Keeping Busy

We've all found our own ways of keeping busy as we wait for baby. While the two of us are watching movies, finishing projects and doing some last-minute reading, Wally has taken to other pursuits.

We heart the culinary arts

Maybe it's all that Top Chef we make him watch, but the rattle of mixing bowls, crinkling of food packaging or whir of the electric mixer seem to call to Wally. He works hard to wedge himself between our legs and the cabinets so that he's first in line should something, anything, hit the floor. Yesterday the sweet, sweet smell of M&M chocolate chip cookies kept him entranced. I'm just sad the camera batteries konked out before I could get a shot of him pawing at the oven door.

Testing, testing

Wally was kind enough to serve as a 30lb test weight for the bassinet that we inherited. It passed with flying colors - just waiting for its new occupant!
